Chris joined the firm in February 1999 after qualifying as a Solicitor in January the same year. He works as a family law Solicitor.
His role involves advising clients in relation to all matters that affect couples upon separation, including divorce, matters concerning children and financial issues. He has extensive experience in representing clients in all family matters in family proceedings and county courts.
Chris is a member of Resolution (formerly Solicitors Family Law Association).
Kay is a Solicitor dealing with civil disputes, private and commercial.
This may involve civil litigation but Kay has a particular interest in mediation as an alternative method of resolving disputes. This is where the parties jointly appoint a trained mediator lawyer who will assist the parties in dispute to find a mutually acceptable compromise.
Typical disputes might include commercial or domestic contracts, for example trade disputes, building contracts, disputes between landlord and tenant or disputes over provisions of a Will.
Due to her work with joint owners of property, Kay can advise in drafting Declarations of Trust recording the contributions to purchase price and agreement for division of proceeds between joint owners and co-habitation agreements.
Kay also offers advice and assistance in employment law.
Kirsten qualified as a Solicitor in 2005 and works in the Wills and Probate department specializing in Will drafting and Estate administration. She can offer advice about Inheritance Tax implications in both of these areas.
She also deals with Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters. For elderly or infirm clients she is able to visit people at home, in nursing homes or hospital.
Kirsten is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Geraint works in the Family and Litigation departments. He deals with all aspects of family and matrimonial law including divorce, financial settlements, cohabitation, civil partnerships and children issues.
He is a member of Resolution. He also deals with transfers of equity and re-mortgages.
Christine is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.
She has over twenty years experience of residential property matters.
She undertakes all aspects of residential conveyancing including sales, purchases and remortgages.
